Rebecca, Senior 2021

As you can see, Rebecca has serious style. She loves to dress sporty but she also enjoys a feminine look. Her clothes were so cool and different that it made creating these images tons of fun!

When asked what her favorite part of her senior session was, she responded, “I liked dressing up in all my different outfits and getting to pose dramatically. It was fun seeing Adriatica Village. The scenery was beautiful.”

In her spare time she enjoys watching movies, reading books, listening to music and exercising. She is a member of the cross country team at Wylie High School . She is a self described “romantic” and would love to watch Pride and Prejudice for the first time again! She is academically determined and plans to attend college and major in cognitive neuroscience or behavioral science. Her plans include attending medical school and becoming a surgeon!

Rebecca’s dream is to finish school and move somewhere in Europe. Possibly Portugal because of its beautiful views and beach.

A mantra that Rebecca lives by is a quote from Eleanor Roosevelt. “No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.”

No doubt that Rebecca is an inspiration and will do amazing things in her life. We wish her a great senior year and lots of interesting adventures ahead!

We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your senior pics!

Keeping your LOVE Alive in Portraits

February is upon us, and love is in the air. Everywhere we turn we see hearts, flowers, and chocolates. But do we see our love documented in current portraits? Or do we have to reach back through the years to that engagement photo, or wedding album? Of course we cherish those memories of days when our love was young, but what about now?

Years of marriage and togetherness have deepened our love, given us a new definition of romance, and probably a very different idea of what, “Happily Every After,” truly looks like.

Celebrate your love, at every stage.

Maternity Session

Had such a great time capturing these photos in a field near Frisco. So cool that this week I met the Miller’s newborn baby girl, Sanaa Elise, and did portraits of her. She joins big brother Cameron to complete the family. The Miller’s ordered a really cool framed collage of these images and it turned out AMAZING! Next we are going to do a gorgeous, custom album mixing some of the maternity and newborn photos. Can’t wait to see the finished products!

Frisco Photographer Photographs Kendall

We recently photographed Kendall for her senior photos. She was lots of fun and the results were stunning. She isn’t a “country” girl, so we decided to do part of the shoot near downtown Dallas. Kendall has a great smile but can pull off the more serious poses too. Her favorite activity in her spare time is watching Netflix. She has a chocolate lab named Cocoa Bean, a whippet named Jasper and a german shepherd named Charlie. Her favorite season is FALL and a place she would love to visit is Spain. 113_Rose_062817r

What to Wear in Family Portraits

Every year we are asked the same question…..”What do we wear for our portraits this year?” It’s a great question because poor planning/clothing can pretty much destroy an otherwise awesome photo. Families are units of individual people so dressing in all exact matching clothing is not ideal. NEITHER IS EVERYONE WEARING THEIR FAVORITE OUTFIT! Color harmony is super important. If your goal is to have something beautiful to put on your wall at home, you should consider dressing is a color palette that works well with the decor you have. We have a page dedicated to clothing in family photos. Here is the link: https://www.pinterest.com/iimagesphotog/clothing-suggestions-for-family-portraits/
I especially love this chart as a reference for colors that look great together.mixing colors

The first time I met Hana in person was at a shoot in the studio for our high school model team. I knew in an instant she was special. Hana is completely natural in front of the camera. She has a super sweet personality and is very talented. She plans on possibly a career in fashion. There are so many amazing photos of her – here are just a few….

A few facts about Hana:
A quote she loves, “Creativity is contagious. Pass it on.” Einstein
Her favorite musical artist – David Bowie
Her favorite movies are Funny Face and The Breakfast Club
Her pet’s name is Lola and she is a Yorkie!

Hallie

In the spotlight today is Plano West senior, Hallie. Hallie is a member of our model team. Her senior session was done in June before things really heated up.

Hallie’s Mom, Sondra, and I are from the same small Oklahoma town – Duncan, OK. I have done several kids from Duncan through the years and it is always a honor for me to get to work with people from my hometown.

Get to know Hallie –

Favorite thing to do in her spare time is SING. Her favorite musical artist is John Mayer. She loves the bible verse, “Come to me, all those who are weary, and I will give you rest. ” Matthew 11:28

What a great kid with a bright future and so photogenic! Here are just a few of the images from her session.

Can’t wait to photograph them individually this summer for their senior portrait sessions! We will be posting some of their images throughout the summer and I know they will be awesome so stay tuned!group
