Photographing couples in love is always a special experience, but this session felt even more meaningful because it features my sister-in-law, Karri, and her fiancé, Dean.
Karri and Dean are planning a wedding in late March in Mexico—a beautiful and unexpected celebration of their love.
For some background: my late brother-in-law, Andy, was not only Karri’s husband for nearly 40 years but also one of my best friends. When Andy passed away in April 2021, it left a huge hole in all of our lives. None of us could have imagined Karri finding love again, and Dean, who had been single for many years, hadn’t met the right person until now.
Seeing Karri and Dean together during this photoshoot really highlighted just how much they care for each other. They are a truly happy and beautiful couple!
