This is the time of the year that I do the most portrait shoots. It is exciting to have the opportunity to do so many different things. My goal is to provide each client with a timeless treasure. I love to stretch myself to find the best lighting, setting, mood, angle, posing, etc. in order to achieve optimal 
results. I truly feel that each year my own creativity gets better, culminating in a finer product for my clients. I appreciate the loyalty and opportunity to make beautiful memories!

Anyone that knows me well would understand why I love to take pictures of golf courses! I took this shot at sunset on a mid October day on #19 at Stonebridge Ranch Country Club. This is my home course and one of my favorite places to be.

Celebrating Life, Love and Family
I’ve been thinking about how much family really means alot lately. My own kids are almost grown and I get a little choked up thinking about how fast that has happened. Lucky for us, we have some really great family portraits that allow us to have a visual reminder of how we have grown and changed throughout the years. I take family portraits very seriously and know that each will be treasured for years to come! After 20 years in the business, many of my clients have shared to me how much an image that I took means to them. Memories are precious for sure! 
Lately, I have been shooting high school seniors at my studio, in our garden, around town in Frisco and in downtown McKinney. The attached pics were done in McKinney during a “Super Safari” photo shoot and inside our studio in Frisco. The client ends up with a wonderful array of choices since we do BOTH indoor studio work and outdoor shots. Each style (indoors and outdoors) has its own benefit. Some may think they want only location stuff but ultimately they LOVE the indoor studio work and usually pick many of the indoor images as their favorites! Don’t make the mistake of choosing a photographer that does only outdoor stuff.
I promise…..you will miss out on some amazing indoor images that only a skilled photographer who fully understands lighting and posing will be able to capture.

It’s been a great year at Innovative Images thanks to all the amazing high school seniors we have photographed. We wish them all the best of luck as they enter a new and exciting phase of life. The McKinney Boyd senior in the pic below will be playing baseball in college and we wish him success and happiness! 
Bluebonnets/Kurt Nelson/InnovativeImages
I recently took a trip to Ennis, TX, to photograph the bluebonnets. I was blown away by the amount of bluebonnets that were in bloom! I was in heaven as a photographer taking these photos. I will never forget the sights I saw!!
Sports Art
Last week, I had the opportunity to photograph Jeron Criner former wide receiver from Arizona. Jeron is at the NFL combine this week. I hope to watch him in the NFL next season.
